At La Maison des Consuls, no two rooms are alike. Each of the eight rooms in our 4-star hotel in Mirepoix is named after a figure from the town’s history and has its own unique style — ranging from the 15th century to the present day, via Art Nouveau, Louis XVI and 1950s design.
Carefully selected antique furniture, luxurious bathrooms, high-quality bedding, air conditioning, Wi-Fi and a minibar: everything has been designed to ensure your stay at our charming hotel in Ariège lives up to the setting that welcomes you.
Four rooms offer a direct view of Mirepoix’s medieval square. Others overlook the inner courtyard or, on the top floor, a private terrace with views over the rooftops and the hills of Ariège.

The Consuls' Loft
A unique place to stay for a truly original experience. Located 300 metres from the medieval square, just a stone’s throw from the famous 700-year-old holm oak, the Loft des Consuls is a 4-star holiday apartment situated in the attic of a fully renovated former garage.
Its layout comprises three distinct areas:
- a bedroom with en-suite bathroom,
- a lounge area with a sofa bed,
- and a kitchen-bar with a bistro corner,
making it an ideal choice for couples or small groups seeking independence and a unique experience.
The loft has its own 4-star tourist accommodation rating, separate from the establishment’s hotel rating.
