Verse of Edmond ROSTAND could be applied to this beautiful house named "La Maison des Consuls", it stands proudly in the heart of the medieval square of MIREPOIX. It was restored to welcome travellers in a spirit that is reflected in the words carved into the front door : "There is no ethics without aesthetics, nor aesthetics without ethics".

Here you will find charm and tranquility. Each room, full of character, refers to a historical personality belonging to the town of Mirepoix. Initially designed to highlight its antique furniture and its striking design, four rooms have exceptional views of the medieval square.

On the last floor, the huge mansard roofs lead onto a private terrace with views of neighbouring roofs and surrounding hillsides, reserved for guests staying in the room of timeless elegance, a perfect place to forget the passing of time and live only the present moment.

The wine bar "grappes of pyrene" invite you to discover the wine from the foothills of the Pyrenees.

From IROULEGUY of the Basque countryside, to the sunny wine of the Mediterraneen coast, inclunding the variety of Gascony and CORBIERES, you can enjoy it with some charcuterie and cheese, found by Bernard owner of this house, purchased exclusively from local producers.
