A little history…
The room” Dame Louise” is on the 2nd floor with a view onto the medieval square. The room is named after Louise DE ROQUELAURE, wife of Alexandre de Levis-Mirepoix. She was an important and respected figure at the Chateau de Lagarde, responsible for the management and organisation. It was she who oversaw extensive projects which lasted many years. Chateau de Lagarde was mentioned many times in Frances history as being the «Little Versailles».
