A little history…
This room is in memory of Monseigneur de Cambon the former Bishop of Mirepoix. It is thanks to him that the Hospice was rebuilt and is still present to this day. He created a very well organised establishment. Monsieur Mercadier, an engineer and architect from Foix, was responsible for the plans and specifications.
